Artaban - The Other Wise Man (3rd Chapter)

Once again, Artaban, a good-natured man, giving us an example of how to act as human beings. In this chapter Artaban arrives at his destination, the birthplace of Jesus, but it was already too late. Herod had sent soldiers to kill all children under 2 years of age, but Artaban managed to persuade the Roman centurion not to break into the house with a mother holding her newborn in her arms. The Centurion, seduced by the great Ruby that Artaban offered, accepted the deal and left.
